Leonard Charles + Team Dynamite Share Single 'It's All Over Now'

She’s So Rad songwriter / producer Leonard Charles (aka Jeremy Toy) has teamed up with Auckland rhyme slingers Lucky Lance and Tony Tz of Team Dynamite for a sly single titled ‘It’s All Over Now’. The four-minute-and-twenty-second tune features soul influences, smoothly delivered rap verses and artwork showing an Akai MPC - an iconic tool for creating tunes in the 1990s. The digital release includes both the titles track and an instrumental version for any budding MCs to hone their lyricism to its beats. Toy is thankfully back in musical action after an intoxicated driver crashed into him as he was unloading a truck after a gig in January, he shared with us the origins of his new collaboration...

"I hit Lance up at St Kevins Arcade one night about trying some Biz Markie type rap over one of my boogie tunes. While Haz from Team Dynamite was overseas I did some fill in engineering for them. Lance was feeling this track of mine so he jumped on it and then Tony did his thing and I think we came up with a pretty unique blend of modern funk and rap. I love Team Dynamite's commitment to feeling the funk and the professional approach they take to making their music in the studio."
