Auckland-based songwriter Julia Deans (Fur Patrol, The Adults) recently popped into the RNZ studios to perform a velvety-smooth rendition of her tune ‘Pick Up’ with band. The heartfelt track features powerful vocal harmonies while upright bass slowly saunters around the song's jazzy arrangement. ‘Pick Up’ is lifted from Deans’ long-awaited second solo offering We Light Fire, which she's currently celebrating with an extensive release tour of Aotearoa.
