SJD Announces 'Miniatures' Project + Shares Video 'Dying Breed'

Auckland singer and producer Sean James Donnelly aka SJD has snuck out the first song in a weekly series titled Miniatures - short-form musical works described as "short songs for even shorter attention spans." While info on the new project is currently scant, the artist talked about Miniatures in an interview on 95bFM's Breakfast Show this morning as being like "little things that sit together and are all different to each other, but are the same by the fact that they are all small." Donnelly stated his project draws inspiration from US avant-pop group The Residents' The Commercial Album which featured a suite of one minute songs, and that his songwriting process was "almost as easy as falling off a log."
