Caught Live: The Beths Play Four Songs On KEXP

Tuesday 4th December, 2018 9:22AM

Auckland guitar-pop rising stars and all-around winners of music The Beths recently brought their super catchy tunes into the venerated studios of Seattle station KEXP, to play a four-song set drawn from their internationally celebrated debut album Future Me Hates Me while they were touring the US. Snappy renditions of 'Future Me Hates Me', 'Uptown Girl', 'Little Death' and 'Happy Unhappy' were busted out for the occasion while the group were surrounded by a dreamy galaxy of lights. The footage is a great teaser for the hard-gigging team's end of year charity Christmas shows happening in Auckland in Wellington this December, with all proceeds from the events to Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa and Women’s Refuge, as a cherry on top they've also just released a festive charity cover of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas'. Singer / guitarist Elizabeth Stokes is rocking a stylish tee featuring Wellington indie-poppers Hans Pucket for the live to air radio event, bop along to the generous full set of songs from the KEXP session here...

The Beths are playing Christmas parties with Laika at Wellington's Meow on Friday 14th December, and Leigh Sawmill on Saturday 15th December - for tickets and more info head over here.
