L V J Announces Auckland Show + Drops Single 'Where Did You Hide Your Wings'

Berlin-based expat rapper L V J is returning to Auckland with a special homecoming event alongside local pals Dbldbl, Jon Lemmon and DJ pg/vg. If that's not enough to get you buzzing, the artist has just dropped 'Where Did You Hide Your Wings' a collaborative single with super city production master Trapjaw Kelpie (who also did the artwork), the latest teaser from the latter's deliciously titled upcoming album with Dbldbl Chip Buddies. Pulsing electronic drones hold down slippery grooves over a cartoon workshop of warped vocal snatches and mutant percussion in the new track, as L V J's chilled vocal tones rattle off reflective, off the dome lyrical wordplay.
