Auckland "thug-psych dumbeat punk" unit NOXO (featuring members of much-missed local psychonauts sere) have dumped a five song load of guitar-driven insanity upon listeners with their second collection Lizard. Like a sonic version of S. Clay Wilson seventies underground comix, Lizard engulfs earholes with NOXO's bad acid trip vision in sound – barbaric squealing vocals gibber into the void while cosmic synthesisers traverse a violent alien planetscape of menacing riffs and brain damaged drums. Needless to say, Lizard sounds great and may well be the vibe you are looking for – dive in here...
