Saudade + Chelsea Wolfe Unveil Haunting Single 'Shadows & Light'

Gothic-folk / doom queen Chelsea Wolfe has contributed to a collaborative track with US supergroup Saudade, spearheaded by Chuck Doom (†††) and including Chino Moreno of Deftones and Gil Sharone (Team Sleep, Dillinger Escape Plan) among their members. The new song 'Shadows & Light' radiates a ghostly ambience, with Wolfe voice journeying through a foggy realm of gentle pulses, smeary guitar washes and feather-light percussion, before awesomely melodramatic distorted riffs and squalling solos take centre stage. Conjuring feelings of grandeur and intrigue, the darkly cinematic standalone cut is the first release from Saudade after three years of downtime, but there's no clues as to whether more material is imminent.
