Blair Parkes Announces Album + Shares Single 'Habit To Break'

The prolific Ōtautahi songwriter and visual artist Blair Parkes (All Fall Down, Cardigan Bay, The Letter 5) makes music out of the quiet little seaside suburb of New Brighton, but his latest single is far from quiet or little. 'Habit To Break' is bold and textured, with bubbling, busy drums from Ryan Chin (Ryan Fisherman, Doprah) from go to whoa. The fuzzy, up-beat track is the first Parkes has shared from upcoming album Liveable City. Parkes’ vocals are paired and intertwined with Miss Mercury’s, floating around somewhere between the crashing guitar and cymbals.
