Melbourne synth / art-rockers Jade Imagine have unveiled their debut studio album Basic Love, ahead of their forthcoming tour of Aotearoa this August and September – with headline dates lined up for Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch along with and appearance at the The Others Way mega-festival on the Milk! Records stage. Expanding upon the shimmering sonics laid down on their 2017 breakout What The Fuck Was I Thinking EP, the new ten track collection sees Jade Imagine straddle zones of motorik grooves, grungy riffage, breezy psych-infused dream-pop and even angular new wave – with bandleader Jade McInally's existential lyrics shining through bubbling electronics and a tonne of infectious hook action.
