Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon has dropped countless releases on all sorts of formats and configurations throughout her massively impactful career, but somehow we've never seen a solo long-player from the boundary-pushing US experimentalist. That all changes with today's unveiling of Gordon's first ever solo record No Home Record – which derives its title from a Chantal Akerman film, gesturing towards the guitar, drum machine and solo vocals approach Gordon utilised when she first began playing music in the early 80s.
