FKA Twigs has dropped the latest teaser for her long-awaited second studio album MAGDALENE, releasing this Friday, five years following her breakout debut LP1. More of a straight up anthem than the intricate sonic panorama of recent single 'home with you', 'sad day' reaches dizzying heights via club-damaging beats, emotive synth pads and her own celestial vocals, with neck-snapping surprise diversions along the way. The innovative UK artist made it tantalisingly close to Aotearoa when she took over Hobart's Dark Mofo festival in June, fingers crossed she'll be heading back our way for an album release tour...
'MAGDALENE' is out on Friday 8th November via Young Turks / Rhythmethod.
