DIIV Share Animated Video For 'The Spark'

Brooklyn guitar-fuzz unit DIIV's latest long player Deceiver was a highlight from 2019 for many, and they're putting their best foot forward into 2020 with a brand new animated video for shoegazey album highlight 'The Spark'. RUFFMERCY's impressionistic visuals fit DIIV's smeary and emotive sonics like a well worn glove, combining nostalgic super 8 footage with brain-peeling, biomorphic psychedelia and just a smidge of cartooniness peeking through. Last here for Laneway 2016, it's clearly time to start petitioning the band to make their way back to Aotearoa asap...
