Shannengeorgiapetersen Shares 'Rough As Guts 1' Covers EP

Giving us all one more reason to stay true young emo, Pōneke’s shannengeorgiapetersen (Sports Dreams, Fruit Juice Parade) is back with rough as guts 1, a crunchy EP of contemporary covers. Her first release coming as part of Synthstrom Audible’s Release Deluge compilation in February, Petersen has hung up her synthesizer this time around in favour of stripped back acoustic set-up. Recorded on a cellphone and assembled in GarageBand, rough as guts 1 takes on tracks by Stella Donnelly, Snail Mail, and Better Oblivion Community Centre, transforming them all into rainy-day iso comfort food, up there with buttered toast and a cuppa.
