The latest neo-soul drop from Villette is a refreshing cross over of '70s RnB and '90s bubblegum pop, and frankly has me highly interested in finding a way to join her lockdown bubble. 'Curious' is an effervescent intro to Villette's upcoming EP, following up her crunchy, hip-hop mixtape Drip Crimson from 2017, and introducing a sunny new sound. The Connor Pritchard imagined clip created with the support of NZ On Air that comes with it is a total joy to watch, following the band through swirling pastels and a wholesome garden gig, thrusting me into B*Witched nostalgia with trampoline jumps in front of green screen back drops. The Tāmaki Makaurau songwriter and producer delved into the inspiration behind the song...
