Clipping. Unveil Single / Video 'Say The Name' + Announce New Album

Hot on the heels of clipping.'s 2019 long player There Existed an Addiction To Blood, the LA experimental rap trio are already back at it with 'Say The Name', an ominous first shot fired from new album Visions of Bodies Being Burned, set to drop this October via Sub Pop Records. Launched along with a starkly minimal lyric video directed by Cristina Bercovitz, the track's visionary wordplay and doomy production (sampling Geto Boys’ hands down classic 'Mind Playing Tricks on Me') paints an aptly dark picture for 2020 listeners, conjuring mental images of the world outside our housebound windows being razed to the ground. Out in time for Halloween, clipping.'s new record is envisaged by rapper Daveed Diggs (Snowpiercer) and producers Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson as completing a horrorcore-inspired diptych kicked off with last year's opus — experience a spine-chilling first taste with 'Say The Name'...
