To celebrate Anna Coddington running her first marathon tomorrow, find yourself a comfy seat and settle in for her jaw-dropping live performance at Roundhead Studios. Tucked away amongst cosy red curtains and rugs, surrounded by sparkling Sharondeliers, with a wee real life audience, and a much much larger online audience, Coddington performed songs from her forthcoming album Beams. Not officially out until next Friday the 27th of November, this premiere / preview is such a treat, and Coddington herself is oozing with charm, appearing unaware of how transfixing a show she puts on. Coinciding with the big album drop, the Pōneke based powerhouse will take The Opera House stage with Fly My Pretties next Friday night, with a sprinkling of shows on the calendar for December / January.
