Randa delivers once again in the realm of colour-popping surrealist visuals, and brings their 2019 single 'Toughen Up' hurtling back into the now with support from NZ On Air. Directed by Hamish Parkinson (actor in Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt For The Wilderpeople), Randa and their back-up dancers perform a funky routine on an episode of The Shannon Show, a programme set in what looks like a holographic exercise book, and hosted by long time Randa collaborator Shannon Fowler (Shannon Matthew Vanya). 'Toughen Up's fuzzy synth melody and scrumptious beats are the perfect match for flares, glares and tassels — I can see a dance craze coming and dancers Fiona Ting and Emma Manos are the tutors for the task.
