Watch Daily J's Topsy Turvy Clip For 'Sunshine Hides'

Annabel Kean / Wednesday 17th February, 2021 2:00PM

Watch out Christopher Nolan, Tāmaki-via-Blenheim psych pals Daily J deliver surreal twists and turns in their new clip for 'Sunshine Hides', directed by Cam Neate and created with the support of NZ On Air. Plucked from their debut album Venus Ate Mars, which dropped late last year, the production team of Neate, Sarah Fabrin and Mason Bennett imagine an alternate reality where '70s threads exist in a futuristic 4K neon world, and hallucinogens are ingested by way of sexy neck scarves. 'Sunshine Hides' is a genre mash-up in itself, with moments of classic pop-rock filtered through a 21st century psych lens, heard in lazy bass slides from Jonny Paul, and frontman Jayden Paul's vocal doubling. Get your daily dose of J in one sitting, and listen to their album Venus Ate Mars for a J rich diet...

Daily J's debut album 'Venus Ate Mars' is out now.
