Graeme James Shares Single 'The Wild' + New Tour Dates

C.C. / Monday 28th June, 2021 12:26PM

With a fresh new EP on the horizon and an absolutely jam-packed nationwide tour already underway, folk artist and multi-instrumentalist Graeme James celebrates the great outdoors in his starry-eyed and sparkling new ballad 'The Wild'. Singing tenderly of "the soul's desire to feel small under the open sky, to feel lost amongst the grandeur of the mountains, and to commune with the transcendent in the quiet beauty of the wilderness," 'The Wild' is a rustic advance taste from the Ngāmotu / New Plymouth-raised guitar slinger's Field Notes on an Endless Day — the fourth and final instalment in a series of seasonal EPs, launching on 30th July via Canadian imprint Nettwerk. Back in his homeland following two years in Europe, James has achieved significant success on Spotify, clocking up a staggering 17 million streams for his cover of 'Young Blood' by The Naked and Famous. He's announced new tour dates in Napier, Dunedin and Kumeu for his winter tour, check out the full updated details below...
