A Place To Bury Strangers Rework Data Animal's 'Dead Raver' + Video
Currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau, "fuzz cyborg death trip" duo Data Animal are the project of Mitchell James O’Sullivan (Aporia, Cynthia, Full Moon Fiasco) and Takumi Yanai (The Schizophonics, The Cavemen). Already tearing up student radio airwaves, they unleashed their debut single 'DEATH RACER' last week via Oliver Ackermann of NYC's A Place To Bury Strangers' newly formed label Dedstrange, so it only makes sense for APTBS to put their fuzzed-out spin on the tune. Pushing 'Dead Raver' to white hot extremes, there's also deranged fresh visuals for APTBS' blistering rework giving us a good idea of what to look forward to when 'Exploding Synthesizer' and 'Righteous Bong' hit the stage at The Others Way 2021 this September [content warning: strobing visuals]...
