Part Tame Impala / part not Tame Impala, Perth band Pond have hit the DONE button on 'Toast', the third single from their forthcoming album 9. As much as I'd like it to be about the twice-cooked breakfast food, 'Toast' is an ode to the act of raising your glasses for a special moment with friends, an action repeated over and over in the track's hazy, toast-shaped music video. Kitted out in baby blue velour, front man Nick Allbrook waits upon his Pond bandmates, delivering champers and chow atop a thigh high tin of Western Australia's finest: Swan Draught.
