Those lucky enough to be able to squeeze into the Kaleidoscope Room at Saturday night's Flying Nun 40th Anniversary knees up were treated to a standout performance by Pōneke's Womb, illuminating the regal interior of Auckland Town Hall with their heartbreaking sonic dreaminess. The sibling trio of Charlotte Forrester, Haz Forrester and Georgette Brown launched their Holding A Flame EP just last month via the aforementioned pioneering Aotearoa imprint, and have today shared with the world a new video for student radio favourite 'Dust To Dust', directed by friend and collaborator Martin Sagadin. Made with support from NZ On Air, the breathtaking visuals for 'Dust To Dust' were filmed at some of Womb's favourite spots in their windswept hometown (where they occasionally show off some impressive gymnastics skills) — the trio explained how the new clip came to be...

"This video for 'Dust to Dust' has been a long time in the making, with lots of ups and downs in between its initial dreaming and its release. In the end, we wanted to take our dear friend and trusted collaborator Martin Sagadin to some of our favourite and most special places in Pōneke: the landscape of Pariwhero/Red Rocks; the green lights along the harbour at night; the inner city carpark that looks out over Wellington. 'Dust to Dust' is a song about cycles and transitions; about how closing one door opens another <3 " - Womb

Womb's 'Holding A Flame' EP is out now via Flying Nun.
