Bringing some serious sonic heat to Wanaka's Cardrona Valley this summer (in contrast to our current icy conditions), Rhythm & Alps 2021 just got even more jam-packed with 20 new additions to the bill. Held across three days and four unique stages, the annual Te Wai Pounamu New Years rager is set to host a bustling array of local party starters with a few overseas names sprinkled in the mix too. Today's fresh batch includes beloved Aotearoa festival faves Shapeshifter, Kora, Salmonella Dub, Tiki Taane, Concord Dawn, The Upbeats and MC Tali, joining such significant figures as Scribe, Melbourne-based rapper Sampa The Great, DJ Aw B and FILTH featuring HALFQUEEN, BBYFACEKILLA, Diesel and Zeki. Rhythm & Alps adds over twenty of the world's hottest acts to the incredible New Years Eve festival line-up.

From December 29 to 31, 2021 the breathtaking Cardrona Valley will play host to some of the biggest names in music and joining the festivities are;

Aotearoa's favourite live electronic, heavy soul outfit SHAPESHIFTER make a welcome return, alongside heavy, funk musical powerhouse KORA, and Dub & Bass pioneers SALMONELLA DUB who unite with TIKI TAANE to join this unforgettable South Island party this New Years.

Alongside two of New Zealand's most globally respected drum & bass musical acts CONCORD DAWN and THE UPBEATS, is the don of the deeper & liquid side of drum & bass CHICCORELI and one of the most exciting, unique and diverse drum & bass artists to emerge HARRIET JAXXON who is joined by the smooth, soulful vocals of MC TALI. And, TALI with her full LIVE BAND will also perform a set of contemporary and classic drum and bass tracks.

These world-class acts will be joined in Cardrona Valley for the New Years celebration by one of the most iconic figures in global dance music culture ANDY C, hypnotic house music "future star" DOM DOLLA, the fearless and undiluted live drum 'n' bass maestro LENZMAN, and UK mother of eclectic, multi-genre sets MAMADAFUNK.
