Michael Llewellyn Shares Single / Video 'Time It Ain't Easy'

He's damn right that Michael Llewellyn, 'Time It Ain't Easy' — but today the Pōneke songwriter has guaranteed a solid four minutes and twenty six seconds of easy, breezy living with his second single and accompanying short film. 'Time It Ain't Easy' follows lead album track 'Whangamatā', which hit the airwaves earlier this month, and goes down mighty smooth with wholesome DIY dad cam visuals shot by Tim Cotton and edited by Rachel Lydia Baker.

Just two cuts deep into Llewellyn's forthcoming album Oh My Darling and it's clear he has a knack for writing songs both comforting and familiar, but still complex in their layers of acoustic guitars, saxophone and Llewellyn's own deep, hushed vocals. The album is due out in full this October, with plans to follow the release with a North Island tour throughout November.
