It's suddenly all on for international artists touring Aotearoa and the Valhalla Touring gang are leading the charge. They've announced the first overseas metal bands "to hit our shores in this new age": a two date monster starring Slovenian deathcore / metalcore unit Within Destruction with Pittsburgh's Signs of The Swarm. The metal hordes in Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Whanganui-a-Tara will be treated to eardrum-slamming, genre-exploding songs from Within Destruction's latest album Yōkai (smashing together elements of metal, hip hop, electronic and even Japanese traditional music), Signs of The Swarm's unrelentingly furious 2021 opus Absolvere and undoubtedly more.
