Ear-bleeding Tāmaki Makaurau and Ōtepoti-based crew Long Distance Runner have announced their third album Shadow will be dropping on 15th June via Sunreturn, preceded by pummelling new single 'Nothing'. An absolute epic-length track compared to their breakneck recent See You On The Horizon compilation contribution, the scathing 'Nothing' finds the four-piece of Simon Oswald, Jono Glenda, Sam Cussen and Sam Shepherd casting their lyrical vision upon Aotearoa's vampiric, all-pervading rental market...

"Nothing is about consumerism and the rental market in particular. It's about how landlords feed off our basic need for shelter but do nothing to improve the standards of the house unless they are forced to. It's about how they need us and we need them but how it's such an uneven transaction.

They do nothing but own a house." — Simon Oswald

'Nothing' is out now on major streaming services via Sunreturn.
