Banished Music and Strange News finally manifested their long-simmering Strange Universe boutique festival concept last Friday evening at Tāmaki's The Powerstation, headlined by Brooklyn art punks Parquet Courts alongside local music champs Mermaidens, Na Noise and Marlin’s Dreaming.
