Client Liaison Returning To New Zealand In September

Client Liaison Returning To New Zealand In September

Chris Cudby / Wednesday 31st August, 2022 12:28PM

Could we be collectively entering into a new Golden Age of live touring events in Aotearoa? It was back-to-back killer gigs just before the plug got pulled in 2020, and while we're not quite back up to that speed yet, the imminent return of Melbourne synth-pop stars Client Liaison is a healthy sign indeed. Heading our way for their first NZ dates since 2019, the party starting duo of vocalist Monte Morgan and keyboardist / producer Harvey Miller are playing headline events this month in Auckland and Wellington, with special guests in both cities DUAL and Bontempo — full info is up on Christchurch festival Electric Avenue's website HERE [who have yet to announce their full lineup for 2022].

Extending their artistic vision beyond making and performing music, Client Liaison's multi-media projects have included travelling festival Expo Liaison (featuring John Farnham) and their own "high leisurewear" fashion label. In our exclusive interview with Client Liaison on the eve of their last local tour, Morgan described the duo's live show methodology as "we're going to give you exactly what you want, in the right order. It's gonna be fun" — don't miss them touring new album Divine Intervention at the following dates...
