Last here in 2019 and originally set to return in 2020 before the global pandemic became an issue, US soul-pop star Allen Stone is at last heading back our way in November, playing Aotearoa headline dates with full band at Auckland's Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre and Wellington's The Opera House. Launched late last week, the shaggy-haired songwriter's new single '5 Minutes' is a groove-heavy and impassioned R&B plea for listeners to take time away away from life's stressful hustle and bustle, to carve out a temporal oasis and appreciate the small moments we spend together. Keeping his profile high in the States via performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Today Show, the 2018 American Idol mentor opened up about his personal motivation for making '5 Minutes'...
