Peaches Announces 'The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary' New Zealand Shows

Inarguably one of the most iconic and provocative artists of the electroclash movement, Peaches is bringing her The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour to Aotearoa in February 2023. Celebrating just over two decades since the defiantly raunchy dance-pop classic was unleashed upon the world, Peaches will perform The Teaches of Peaches in its entirety at two unmissable shows at Auckland's The Powerstation and Wellington's Meow. A massively influential artist who has famously collaborated with such fellow giants as Iggy Pop, Daft Punk, Kim Gordon and Major Lazer, Peaches' boundary-pushing vision encompasses more than 20 self-directed videos, theatre production and even cinematic rock opera — as documented in new photographic publication What Else Is In The Teaches Of Peaches, including texts by Yoko Ono, Elliot Page, and Michael Stipe. “Godmother to “WAP”” (CBC), feminist icon and pop provocateur Peaches’ returns with an additional leg of The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour after a string of wildly successful, sold-out shows across North America, Europe and the UK. A celebration of the 20th anniversary of Peaches’ seminal The Teaches of Peaches, she will be performing the album in its entirety across Australia and New Zealand including Mona Foma and World Pride festival dates. In addition, Peaches is currently working on a brand-new album, with more details to come.
