Ripship and Swallow The Rat Announce North Island Tour

Two of Tāmaki Makaurau's finest sonic voyaging groups are blasting into the future with a seven date double headline tour. Launching their avidly awaited debut album Fearsome Engine on 16th December via 1:12 Records, sci-fi psych-rockers Ripship (Callum Lincoln and Eva-Rae McLean) will be clambering into their van / spaceship with fellow noiseniks Swallow the Rat (Brian Purington, Hayden Fritchley, Stephen Horsley), who are themselves releasing their 'Other Rooms / Realised' vinyl 7" on 25th November — featuring guest vocalist Yuko Miyoshi (Memory Foam) and an "in the red" mix by Oliver Ackermann (A Place To Bury Strangers). They'll be hitting stages all around Te Ika-a-Māui right up until 10th December with a bevy of special guests, head along and grab some crucial stocking-stuffing new releases from both bands on the door...
