Canterbury's The Big Fresh Collective have unleashed the ultimate soundtrack for your next Bunnings Warehouse rave, created by gloriously named Tāmaki Makaurau mystery producer DONK DOBBO. Reviving the electronic dance genre of Donk just in time for NZ Music Month, THE DONK DOBBO EXPERIENCE honours our shared pop musical roots with eight sizzling hot bangers — reimagining the timeless works of namesake legend Dave Dobbyn (with and without Herbs), Th' Dudes, Six60, L.A.B. and even the Kiwi classic Novus Auto Glass advertisement via a high energy injection of slamming beats and slice 'n' dice sample magic. Our faves from the collection are massive party anthem 'BLISS DONK' and absolute ripper 'GIMMIE WHAT U GOT (ERIN SIMPSON DONK)', but each track is flawless in its own specific way.
