The NZ Music Month Summit 2023 Announced: Community and Collaboration

It wouldn't be Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa / NZ Music Month without the annual NZ Music Month Summit, with 2023's edition announced to be taking place at Tāmaki Makaurau’s (a UNESCO City of Music) The Tuning Fork on Saturday 27th May. An invaluable opportunity for those participating in our music industry (on any level) to exchange ideas and experiences, this year's one-day programme will feature panel discussions and presentations orbiting the theme of Community and Collaboration — specifically tackling the topics of collaborating for business success, finding your collaborative community and collaborating in the recording studio, along with "an update from both SoundCheck Aotearoa and the Waiata Anthems crew". For those who can't attend in the flesh, there'll be a very handy livestream broadcast via the MMF Aotearoa and NZ Music Commission Facebook and YouTube channels — viewers will be able to direct questions to panelists via online moderators.

Presented by the Music Managers Forum (MMF) Aotearoa and the NZ Music Commission, with support from industry organisation partners APRA AMCOS, NZ On Air and Recorded Music NZ, the full programme and panelists for The NZ Music Month Summit 2023 will be revealed next week.
