The NZ Music Month Summit 2023 - Programme Announced

Chris Cudby / Monday 15th May, 2023 11:37AM

Presented by MMF (Music Managers Forum) Aotearoa and the NZ Music Commission, the full programme was unveiled late last week for the 2023 NZ Music Month Summit, a free all-day info-packed get together taking place at Tāmaki Makaurau’s The Tuning Fork on Saturday 27th May, plus there'll be an accessible livestream for those who can't be there in person. Revolving around this year's Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa / NZ Music Month umbrella theme of Community and Collaboration, the primary topics tackled will be Creative Collaboration, Finding Your Collaborative Music Community, A Collaboration of Songs and Screen and Collaboration in the Recording Studio, along with informative updates from the SoundCheck Aotearoa and Waitata Anthems teams.

With panels including a diversity of local artists, industry / media figures and more (for example the Creative Collaboration panel features an animator, fashion designer and photographer), all sharing their expert knowhow and first-hand experiences within our music community and beyond, The NZ Music Month Summit 2023 offers a wealth of resources for those keen to get amongst on every level. Tuck into the full official programme below and be sure to register for free in advance for the limited capacity live event — brought to you with support from industry organisation partners APRA AMCOS, NZ On Air and Recorded Music NZ.
