Aotearoa's heavy music legions will be making their pilgrimage to Butlers Reef in Ōakura on 2nd December for the megaton-hitting ROCK MONSTERS 2023 festival, an epic one day celebration of all things metalcore, progressive rock and metal headlined by Sydney superstars Northlane. Arriving on our shores following the launch of their 2022 opus Obsidian, Northlane will be joined by small army of guitar-wielding local heroes — including Tāmaki Makaurau's Written By Wolves, post-hardcore / metalcore crew Crooked Royals, prog / post-rock elementalists Coridian, Whanganui progressive metal collective Pull Down the Sun, Te Whanganui-a-Tara heavy hitters Clæmus and Ōtautahi's ELIDI.
