Arising from Tāmaki Makaurau's noisy underground to gnash up your earholes, U R A TOOTH are the sonically formidable four-piece of Dorian Noval (TOOMS) on vocals and drums, Nich Cunningham (also of TOOMS) on electric bass, percussionist Alan D Jones, and Jeff Henderson handling saxophones, duck caller and occasional vocals. Carving out their own sweet spot between searing no wave heat, Boredoms-level yowls, bowel-releasing free jazz blowouts, grunty ur-punk and ultra-heavy psych, all twelve joyously cacophonous tracks were recorded on the spot at The Wine Cellar on just one evening last November by Mason Fairey.
