Winner of the 2023 Taite Music Prize and finalist in two categories for the new-fangled Rolling Stone Aotearoa Awards (Best Record and Best Single), Princess Chelsea aka Chelsea Nikkel has announced she'll soon be performing her award-winning album Everything Is Going To Be Alright in its entirety at venues across Te Ika-a-Māui this October. Joined for all four dates by mega-talented bandmates David Harris, Joshua Worthington-Church, Simeon Kavanagh-Vincent, Joe Kaptein and Jasmine Balmer, Princess Chelsea described her majestic yet emotionally turbulent latest Lil' Chief record as a "nervous breakdown album” — tucking in a luminous cover of Peter Ivers' Eraserhead anthem 'In Heaven' amidst such insta-classics as 'Forever Is A Charm', 'Time', 'Love Is More', 'The Forest' and the doom metal-tinted title track. Princess Chelsea will perform her 2023 Taite Prize winning album 'Everything Is Going To Be Alright' in its entirety (from start to finish) on a very special New Zealand tour this October.
