On A Good Day Wellington Concert Series - Matt Corby & Allen Stone Join Lineup

Australian songwriting sensation Matt Corby and shaggy-haired US soul-pop artist Allen Stone will be performing together in the capital, helping kick off summer as part of Pōneke's On A Good Day concert series. Also announced today to be performing in Tāmaki Makaurau, Corby joins a megastar bill including Philadelphia rock collective The War On Drugs with Austin icons Spoon on 1st December, and Irish songwriter Dermot Kennedy (who has covered Corby's work in the past) on 30th November. Corby will be arriving here with songs from his first new album in five years Everything's Fine, while Allen Stone bounds back to our shores following headline dates across the North Island late last year. Go catch both artists bringing the magic at Anderson Park in the Botanic Gardens on 2nd December...

Live Nation is today excited to announce Matt Corby and Allen Stone as the final acts added to the On A Good Day three-day concert series in Wellington this December, with Corby also announcing a very special intimate show at Auckland’s Powerstation on Friday December 1.

Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby released his third studio album, titled "Everything's Fine," earlier this year. This album marks his return after a five-year hiatus, during which he and his family tragically lost their home in the NSW floods of 2022. Ahead of his appearance in Wellington, Corby will play one show in Auckland on Friday December 1 at The Powerstation.

Joining Corby at On A Good Day is American R&B/soul singer-songwriter Allen Stone who is known for his powerful live performances and unique ability to channel senstitivity into his songs. Both artists will be bringing their powerhouse voices to Anderson Park on Saturday December 2.

Live Nation’s On A Good Day, includes the already announced, internationally acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy performing on Thursday November 30. On Friday, December 1, the GRAMMY-award winning indie-rock group The War On Drugs will take the stage with support from American rock band Spoon, delighting fans.
