Estère Returning To New Zealand For Summer Tour

Since launching her standout Mākara Peak EP in late '22 Estère has relocated to London, keeping Southern Hemisphere fans in the loop with BTS musical updates over on her Instagram and Patreon pages. The Tūī-nominated Cameroonian / Kiwi songwriter and producer has announced she's popping back to Aotearoa for a special summer catchup, treating us to a round of intimate headline dates in Wellington, Nelson and Tākaka joined onstage by Carly Gill (Kedú Carlö), following a mid-February appearance at Splore Festival (DJing and performing with dancers Kalya Paige and Astarte Iman). Estère visits from the UK for a festival and intimate venue Aotearoa tour!

After relocating to London in mid-2023, the Empress of electric-blue witch hop, Estère has been filling her days writing and recording with other songwriters and producers, landing DJ gigs around the city, and flying to Cameroon to feature in the incredibly cool Douala Arts Festival.

Now Estère returns to Aotearoa to share her new, dynamic, rhythm-focussed performance, creating the summer-defining vibe of 2024.

Estère will be performing twice at Splore on Friday February 23rd: First up is an afternoon DJ set at the Crystal Palace Stage, followed by a quick solo performance at a special stage. For her night performance, Estère will be accompanied by dancers Kalya Paige (WOW Choreographer) and Astarte Iman (House of Iman) at the Naked Eye Cabaret Stage.

At her intimate club shows, Estère will be joined on stage by percussionist and producer extraordinaire Carly Gill from Kedú Carlö. Their performance will incorporate bangers from her Mākara Peak tour as well as new jams inspired from her world experiences over the past six months.
