Hollow Coves Announce Auckland Headline Show

Leaping into the great unknown with their forthcoming first new album in half a decade Nothing To Lose, Australian indie folk duo Hollow Coves are treating local fans to a celebratory headline event at Tāmaki Makaurau's regal Hollywood Cinema. Crafted in the studio with fellow songwriting star Matt Corby on production / engineering duties, Nothing To Lose "takes its inspiration from re-learning to appreciate our day-to-day" — the long-awaited follow up to Gold Coast Music Award winners Ryan Henderson and Matt Carin's massively successful 2019 debut album Moments. Look forward to their new record's release in full on 1st March, plenty of time to learn the words and sing along when Hollow Coves this coming spring...

The ascendant Australian duo Hollow Coves return with their first new album in five years on March 1 via Nettwerk Music Group. Nothing To Lose takes its inspiration from re-learning to appreciate our day-to-day: early morning surf trips on Australia’s Gold Coast, getting lost in the expansive national parks of the American West, the slow-and-steady craftsmanship of film or vinyl or woodworking. Teaming with producer Matt Corby along with many collaborators from their close-knit, beach-town musical community - Nothing To Lose is a striking reminder of the often-underestimated powers of gratitude, perspective and simplicity as we navigate the modern world.
