Wowing the crowd as openers for Queens Of The Stone Age at Tāmaki Makaurau's Spark Arena last night (plus a warm up Renegade set last weekend at Camp A Low Hum), Earth Tongue today unleash an overdose of audio-visual thrill power with 'Bodies Dissolve Tonight!'. Gussie Larkin (Mermaidens) and Ezra Simons' (Soft Bait) first single of 2024 is a fuzz-ripping, guts-melting opening salvo from their just-announced second album Great Haunting, launching in full on 14th June via Los Angeles-based imprint In The Red Records — home since '91 to fellow amp-blowers Thee Oh Sees, Kid Congo, Wand, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Dion Lunadon (The D4), to name a few.

The famed supernatural horror lovers' new song arrives with a self-directed cinematic mini-epic, shot by Caleb Corlett on 16mm film and made with the support from NZ On Air. Filmed within the black sand expanses of Karioitahi Beach, Earth Tongue's heavy psych riffage blasts viewers into mutagenic realms, with constantly donut-spinning ute lending their clip even more hectic energy. Soon jetting abroad to SXSW in Texas, with a 40 date EU tour on the horizon, experience Earth Tongue's 'Bodies Dissolve Tonight!' and buckle up for more in the near future...
