Based over in Naarm these days, Heavy Chest founder Andre Smith will be debuting a slew of fresh material from his forthcoming Lake Echo EP on a homecoming solo tour of Te Ika-a-Māui this coming April. An artist whose luminous songwriting and production prowess attracted the ear of pop star BENEE, who collaborated with Heavy Chest on their 2022 single 'sunday926', Smith welcomes attendees along for "an audible hug and a look at songwriting behind this project" at intimate capacity shows in Pōneke, Tāmaki Makaurau, Tairāwhiti / Gisborne, and Whangamatā — plus a tantalisingly mysterious Saturday secret gig.
