Live Photos: Carcass with The Black Dahlia Murder - Wellington

UK grindcore / death metal pioneers Carcass ripped through the first of three Aotearoa dates with Michigan melodic death metal ambassadors The Black Dahlia Murder last night, driving the windy city crowd into a wild frenzy at Meow. It was a special gig for avowed fan photographer Bruce Mackay, who shared: "Carcass was the first band I tried photographing and failed miserably at Valhalla many years ago. Thankfully Ben Valhalla loved the pics and encouraged I shoot more bands". We hope Ōtautahi devotees of either bands have grabbed their tickets already, as tonight's gig at Loons in Lyttelton has sold out, while Tāmaki Makaurau punters better move fast.
