Press Release:

Paquin winter tour and new single “Silhouette”

Paquin will be bringing their krautrock inspired synthpop to the main centres this July. The creative vision of producer Tom Healy (Popstrangers, She’s So Rad.) Paquin also features Westley Holdsworth (Proton Beast), Stu Harwood (Tono and the Finance Company), and David Flyger.

Paquin have been performing around Auckland for the last year and shared the stage with the likes of Princess Chelsea, Badd Energy, Ruby Frost and Sherpa. They’re currently putting the final touches to their second EP, to be released later in the year.

Simon Comber will be joining Paquin on the tour line-up, bringing his bittersweet alt-folk sound along for the ride. Simon spent several months last year touring the States and recently returned from a stint in Australia supporting The Verlaines. See them live:

4th July Dux Live, Christchurch w/ The Response and Magic Eye
5th July Wunderbar, Lyttleton w/ The Golden Orange and Zen Mantra
7th July Mighty Mighty, Wellington w/ Wet Wings
