The Audio Foundation Announces Now! Here! Festival

The Audio Foundation have announced a new event, the Now! Here! Festival happening over three days in Auckland this August and featuring a rare performance by the legendary Dead C.   The festival will switch between the Audio Foundation HQ behind Krd, the Wine Cellar and Whammy Bar as well as a free event at Silo Park.  Along with live performances there will be film screenings, panel discussions and more - basically a feast of experimental audio-visual activities!  See below for full programme information, here are a couple of the evening events that we have a very limited allocation of tickets on sale for...

AUDIO FOUNDATION PRESENTS THE NOW! HERE! FESTIVAL!

August 10 – 12th

Audio Foundation/Wine Cellar/Whammy Bar/Silo Park

Tune in to outrageous dimensions of audible activity!

Audio Foundation is very excited and proud to present the Now! Here! Festival - a three-day celebration with New Zealand / Aotearoa's inventive and accomplished sound artists and musicians championing the experimental and avant-garde in all its multitudinous, intriguing and unpredictable forms.

Now! Here! Festival features a range of emerging and established sound artists contributing to Erewhon Calling, a new publication surveying the vital experimental music scene in NZ to be launched on the opening night.

FRIDAY 10TH AUGUST

Erewhon Calling Publication Launch - 6.30 PM
Join us for wine and nibbles to celebrate the launch of the ‘Erewhon Calling’ publication, a concise survey of recent and contemporary New Zealand / Aotearoa sound and noise music practices. Copies of the book will be available for purchase on all nights of the Festival http://audiofoundation.org.nz/erewhon1
