Big Day Out Announce 2013 Dates and Venues

Big Day Out have revealed details of the 2013 festival circuit with the absence of New Zealand for the first time in over a decade. Sydney now occupies the place in the circuit Auckland once held - kicking off the festival on Friday 18th Jan. While organisers where pretty clear at the start of the year that the disastrous 2012 festival would be our last, we were still hopeful it would come back and still are hopeful that something will fill the gap.

Of course Australia isn't far away if you want to get your full BDO fix. It will be the first festival with the backing of C3 Presents (organisers of Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival) and Red Hot Chili Peppers are strongly rumoured to be one of the two headliners. All will be revealed by this time next week, some two months earlier than normal.

Friday 25 January – ADELAIDE - Showground
Saturday 26 January – MELBOURNE - Flemington Racecourse
Monday 28 January - PERTH - Claremont Showgrounds
