Big Day Out 2013 Line-Up Announced

Big Day Out 2013 Line-Up Announced

Monday 16th July, 2012 8:05AM

The line-up for the first Big Day Out without NZ was announced this morning and damn it's good.  Red Hot Chili Peppers, who have just been announced to play one show in Auckland,  and The Killers headline alongside Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Animal Collective, Sleigh Bells, Against Me!, Foals and more. As we posted last week,  there is no space for lil' old Auckland in the schedule with Sydney taking what was our date so if you want to check out all the acts in one setting you'll need to head across the ditch. Here's the full line-up and below are the Australian dates....

Well that's just great. They pull out of Auckland because of poor sales (after a few years of decidedly average line-ups) and then they announce the best line-up for years. Thanks

I suppose all the people disagreeing with the line-up are metal fans? Because, in my most humble opinion, this is one of the best line-ups I've seen in years.
