Crystal Castles Announce One-Off New Zealand Show

Crystal Castles Announce One-Off New Zealand Show

Thursday 13th September, 2012 8:40AM

Crystal Castles have announced a one-off New Zealand show in Auckland at The Studio on January 15th, 2013 off the back of their Big Day Out tour in Australia.

The Toronto-based duo of Alice Glass and Ethan Kath last played in New Zealand at the 2011 Big Day Out and made an impression with an aggressive live show despite the fact that Glass was on crutches.

The January 15th date is their first headlining show in New Zealand, and is in support of their third (and again, self-titled) studio album. Have a listen to their excellent latest single, 'Plague' below as well as the video for one of our favourites from their back-catalogue 'Courtship Dating'.

Tickets are available from Ticketmaster. Pre-sale tickets will be available between September 14th-20th. All remaining tickets will be available from September 21st.

Band of Horses, Alabama Shakes and Pretty Lights have also announced New Zealand side shows.
