New Zealand Music Awards 2012 Winners

The New Zealand Music Awards were held last night in Auckland with Kimbra and Six60 taking out multiple awards. A smattering of alternative artists were also recognised including Home Brew who took out Best Urban Hip Hop Album, The Checks Best Rock Album and Opossom won Best Alternative Album. The ceremony saw performances by a number of nominated artists with the best saved till last with a special tribute to Toy Love, recipients of the Legacy Award, by members of Rackets, Street Chant and Tiny Ruins who together performed Toy Love track 'Sheep'.
