The nominees for 2013 Grammys have been announced with locals Bret McKenzie and Kimbra up for awards. McKenzie's Oscar winning Muppets track 'Man or Muppet' is up for Best Song Written For Visual Media and Gotye's hit track 'Somebody I Use To Know' featuring Kimbra is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Record Of The Year.
